P.L. "Pete" Martinez - Senior Vice President and Chief Technology & Innovations Officer

Mr. Martinez leads the Technology and Innovation efforts for Quantum Innovations and The Quantum Group of Companies. Prior to joining Quantum Innovations, he served as Vice President of Global Business Services with IBM and was the Senior Location Executive for IBM South Florida.

An executive with 32 years of international business in multiple industries, Martinez has led multiple sizable and successful entrepreneurial businesses. From a leadership position in IBM's original PC business to pioneering the first electronic services on the Internet and the creation of e-business Consulting, he has been an innovator of both business and technology. He has been a pioneer of innovative projects in the areas of advanced research, supercomputing and information based medicine.

With a strong technology foundation, Martinez has been able to define creative solutions to business problems. He has over 20 patents and technical publications in the areas of: computer architecture, robotics, optical disks and display technology. Martinez is a frequent key note at international conferences and has been featured by The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, ABC News, The Economist, Univision and CNN.

Mr. Martinez holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami.
