Introduction - Quantum Innovation Incentive Program (QuIIP)

As of June 3, 2008, The Quantum Group, through Quantum Innovations, has filed a total of 19 provisional patent applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for technologies that reflect and underscore the Company's comprehensive approach to the healthcare industry. The patent applications address the needs of both patients and healthcare providers, while offering an intelligent, knowledge-based approach to patient care. This accomplishment for a company in the healthcare services arena is rare, if not unheard of.

Beginning in November 2007, The Quantum Group authorized Quantum Innovations to leverage a unique incentive approach to encourage and drive the development and submission of additional business process patents. This program is called the Quantum Innovation Incentive Program (QuIIP) and is led by Pete Martinez, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology & Innovations Officer.

QuIIP Rewards/Compensation

The program provides significant financial rewards (including but not limited to cash payments, royalties and/or stocks or stock options) for the creation, documentation and development of inventions and innovations (intellectual property) that help further Company initiatives to drive greater operational efficiencies and help revolutionize the healthcare industry.
